I don’t agree with this. Maybe what he says and does won’t fix me, but it sure as hell helps. When I’m too low in depression, saying “you’re beautiful” and “I love you” lifts me up higher than if he wasn’t there. I deeply appreciate the things he says to me even if they won’t “fix” me.
